Sindicato de Trabajadoras Deomesticas (SINTRASEDOM) is a self-organised group with members in different cities of Colombia: Cali, Medellin and Bogota. SINTRASEDOM is also a member of COLACTRAHO (Confederacion Latinoamericana y del Caribe de Trabajadoras del Hogar).
SINTRASEDOM’s vision is to inform, build the capacity of, and strengthen women domestic workers who are vulnerable to abuse, sexual violence and labour exploitation, so that the rights of domestic workers are recognised and that women domestic workers are “strengthened in responsible decision making and the construction of a project for their lives.”

COIN is an NGO that focuses on the promotion and protection of the human rights of trafficked women through prevention and direct assistance to victims. COIN opened a shelter for returned trafficked women in 2003 so that trafficked women can receive medical, psychological and legal assistance as well as training for socioeconomic reintegration.

ECPAT Guatemala is a non-profit organisation dedicated to combating the commercial sexual exploitation of children. ECPAT Guatemala was established in 1998. It works with governmental institutions and non-governmental organisations through a four-tier programme, which involves research, prevention, training and monitoring. It works to raise awareness of commercial sexual exploitation of children among all sectors of Guatemalan society including government, civil society, religious, adults and children. In addition, it develops prevention activities, provides training to government officials, NGO staff and other social actors, reviews relevant legislation and mechanisms of justice administration, and monitors their implementation.
