Fundación Serra-Schönthal is a non-profit whose founding purpose is a commitment in solidarity with women who engage in prostitution and/or are victims of trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation, as well as the rejection of structures that do not respect human rights, especially in situations of injustice and violation of women’s rights. The general interest of the Foundation is to provide social assistance to women victims of sexual exploitation, development cooperation, the defence of human rights and the promotion of volunteerism
Objectives: 1. To support projects for the comprehensive care of women, adolescents and girls involved in prostitution and/or who have been victims of trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation. 2. Promote awareness-raising and education programmes, as well as advocacy campaigns and actions, to raise awareness of the causes of prostitution and trafficking, and the violation of women’s rights, and possible responses and alternatives. 3. Investigate new forms of prostitution and trafficking, including virtual prostitution.

Platform for Labour Action (PLA) is an Ugandan civil society organisation that was founded in 2000. PLA’s target groups are vulnerable, marginalised workers, majority of whom are women, youth and children. Currently, the organisation is focused on informing legal and policy frameworks for the vulnerable and marginalised workers to ensure their protection and enjoyment of human and workers’ rights as well as decent work; promoting human rights and accountability among communities and duty bearers on the rights of vulnerable and marginalised workers; strengthening social protection initiatives for the target groups through education, skilling, livelihood support; and research and knowledge management.

The Forum for Development and Human Rights Dialogue (FDHRD) is an Egyptian non-governmental organisation, which was foundedin order to cultivate an open dialogue regarding development and human rights both in Egypt and abroad. It works to ensure that development is community-led and that it respects, protects, and fulfils human rights.
It do so by making sure that communities and individuals have the information, power and resources to determine their own development paths and priorities and to hold institutions, governments, and other actors accountable for their impacts on people, and peoples.
FDHRD raises awareness for non-governmental and civil society organisations in different governorates across Egypt, in order to play a pivotal role in containing humanitarian issues and strengthen peaceful civic values. The organisation strives to connect with people from all social and cultural backgrounds with the goal of educating and developing broader understandings about human rights, civil rights and social cohesion. Internationally, it reports on gross violations of human rights.

Shanti Foundation is a non-profit community-based organisation by and for human trafficking survivors and women living with HIV established in 2016. It aims to transform their grief and shame into courage and power so that other women and girls like them don’t have to face the same stigma and discrimination. The vision of Shanti Foundation is to create a world free of stigma and discrimination where all human trafficking survivors, HIV and AIDS-infected/affected women, youth, and children will lead a life of quality and productivity with equality and freedom in society. Shanti Foundation works for the successful reintegration of human trafficking survivors and HIV/AIDS-infected/affected women, youth of all genders, and children through counselling, prevention and protection, treatment, and the development of sustainable livelihoods and economic empowerment. It emphasises the successful reintegration of human trafficking survivors and HIV-infected and affected women and girls in the family and society, increase level of awareness, protection, access to treatment, empower socially and economically human trafficking survivors, people living with HIV, vulnerable girls and women, youth and children that contribute to prevent and control trafficking in order to ensure their fundamental rights.
Currently, Shanti Foundation works in seven districts of Nepal, namely Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Kavrepalanchok, Sindhupalchok, Ramechhap and Makwanpur. It has provided services to over 7,500 vulnerable and marginalised women, children and communities. It has been relentlessly working on rescue, prevention, protection, partnership and policy in combating the human trafficking. The organisation also creates opportunities for exchanging knowledge and learning for ongoing research, post-secondary practicum placements, and volunteer works. Shanti Foundation promotes and supports the shared learning, partnerships, and connections which are formed through these experiences.
